Join us for family fun, games and music. There will be food, refreshments and FOHPP gear for sale. Construction on the new family pool with zero-depth entry and 8-lap lanes for competitive swimming will begin this spring and will open on Memorial Day weekend 2011.To date, the Friends group has raised $7.7 million for the project which involves building the new swimming area, refurbishing the bathhouse, and creating an addition for a year-round gathering space. The group still needs to raise $500,000 to pay for planned amenities including waterslide, interactive water play area, diving boards and starting blocks.  Thank you to everyone who has helped over the past four years with all the great events we have hosted!  A HUGE THANK YOU to Rachel Crouch and Krista Hicks for an awesome job as Co-VPs.  I couldn’t have done it without them and it wouldn’t have been any fun without their support!  THANK YOU also to our out-going Secretary Doris Mueller for her support over the past four years!

I am sure it will take a bit for the new board to settle in, but hopefully they will be raring to go and ready to meet you all at a Winter TGIF!
