Happy New Year!

Pabst Park Neighborhood Friends,

Happy New Year! Can you believe it’s almost been a year since we were able to gather together? Our last social gathering, the Winter Happy Hour, was last February. Although the ongoing pandemic has changed our event calendar, we are hopeful that 2021 will bring new opportunities to socialize and celebrate the best neighborhood in Tosa!

And speaking of new opportunities, we are currently in need of new leadership for the neighborhood association. It is with a heavy heart that I must step back from PPNA President role. I’ve enjoyed my time at the helm and I am grateful for the new friends I have made in this role.

We still have several active board members, but would love to have some new neighbors step up and help lead the PPNA in 2021. If you have a passion for our neighborhood and some new ideas for how we can connect in these challenging times, please reach out. Try not to be thrown by official titles, the board is truly collaborative and the presidency can be customized to fit your availability.

Feel free to reach out via email to pabstpark@gmail.com if you would like to get more involved in the PPNA, have more questions about leadership or event ideas.

Thanks again for your membership and continued support of the PPNA,
Sam Bingham

East Tosa Gran Prix 2018

One of our favorite East Tosa events will be here in just a few weeks!  Have a great time strolling the avenue while you shop, eat, drink and see all the excitement the races have to offer.  Don’t forget the race just for the kiddies!  More information about the day’s events can be found on the websites for ToAD and East Tosa

Pabst Park will course marshal a corner or crosswalk for the race and volunteers are needed.  This is a great way to serve our neighborhood and this fantastic event in our own back yard!  If you can raise a flag when you see the pace car coming, you can be a course marshal.  We will need volunteers from Noon to 8 p.m. on July 1st.  Can you spare an hour or two to be a course marshal?  Email, pabstpark@gmail.com with your preferred time and you’ll be guaranteed a great view of the races as well as meet new neighbors!

Pabst Park needs 8 volunteers for the races.  We will be using the main sign up form to volunteer to be a course marshal.  Course marshals (16 and older), please sign up online here.  If you add a “Pabst Park” note to your sign up, organizers will try to place us on our side of North Avenue.
