Support the NAC at Metcalfe’s in July & Save!
The Wauwatosa Neighborhood Association Council (NAC) is the July Charity of the Month at Metcalfe’s Market. There are two ways you can support the NAC, which is a registered nonprofit that provides training and mentoring to neighborhood associations without any membership or other fees.
1. Charity Appreciation Discount
Print and use the coupon below every time you shop at Metcalfe’s during July and get a 5% discount on all your groceries. A matching 5% will be donated to the NAC.
2. Metcalfe’s Reuse & Choose Program
Metcalfe’s encourages customers to reuse their bags for a greener tomorrow by giving back $.10 per reusable bag used. You can choose to keep the $.10 for yourself or donate the $.10 refund to the NAC in July. Be sure to tell the cashier that you choose to donate $.10 per bag to the NAC (or they will automatically take $.10 per bag off your purchase).
Thank you for supporting the NAC!

North Ave Parking Study – Public Input Meeting April 13

Save-the-date

In response to business and resident concerns expressed about parking in and around North Ave from 76th Street to 60th street, the City has hired the firm of Walker Parking Consultants to study ways to improve the parking situation. The study will address parking issues along this corridor, and in the residential neighborhoods both to the north and south of this section of North Ave.
To accomplish this task, staff from Walker Parking Consultants will be performing site surveys to document parking characteristics in the study area. They would also like to hear from you regarding your parking experience.
They will also be conducting a public listening session that will be open to all interested parties.
When: Wednesday, April 13th, 2016 at 6:30 PM
Where: Wauwatosa Library, Firefly Room
If for some reason you cannot attend the meeting, and did not see them in the field, but would still like your voice to be heard, you may respond to a survey they have prepared. The survey is found using the link below. The cut off for responses is Wednesday, April 20th, 2016
