Volunteers are needed to help serve lunch for the Tosa Senior Center luncheon at Hart Park every 4th Friday of the month. The PPNA is responsible for helping with the luncheon once a month. This is a great opportunity to do some inter-generational socializing. If you have little ones at home, it is my understanding that they are welcome to come along! Please contact me if you are interested in helping out, tamaracrouch@pabstpark.com or 475.6345.

Meeting This Tuesday
Signs are going out around the neighborhood for the “Who are the People in your Neighborhood?” event on Tuesday March 7th. We still have space for anyone who would like to promote services. Babysitters, pet sitters, snow shovelers, house cleaning services, painters, handymen, accountants….if you have a service to offer, we have a space for you to promote it!
Traffic on Lloyd
I received a call from some of our neighbors on Lloyd Street that are concerned about the amount of traffic and speeds on Lloyd between 60th and 68th streets. They are hoping to reduce the speed of traffic on Lloyd. If you are also concerned about this issue please contact me, tamaracrouch@pabstpark.com and I can put you in touch with the group looking to make changes.
Rummage Sale
We received some feedback that people would prefer to have the neighborhood rummage sale in the Spring rather than in the Fall. As of now, we only have resources to hold the rummage sale on the Friday and Saturday before Mother’s Day (May 12th-13th), but if someone would like to coordinate it for a different weekend, they can contact Tammy at 475-6345 or tamaracrouch@pabstpark.com.
Who are the people in your neighborhood?
We are still looking for people who would like to offer services such as babysitting, dog walking, handyman help, landscaping, professional services, etc to the neighborhood. There will be an event at 7pm on March 7th at Washington School.
This is a great opportunity for teenagers to start networking for their child care, pet care or yardwork services.
If you would like more info, or would like to reserve a spot, call Rachel at 727-9952.
