We could use some teen helpers to help with the crafts and story time. If you would like to help with this event, please contact Rachel Crouch at 727-9952.
We would like to help out the Wauwatosa Police Department’s Tosa for Kids charitable organization which helps children in need in Wauwatosa. If you are able, please bring new winter hats, mittens, or scarves to be donated to Tosa for Kids to our Holiday Kickoff Event. If you are unable to attend on the 5th but would still like to donate items please drop them off at 2119 North 66th Street before December 10th marked Tosa for Kids.

Trick or Treat

Nighttime Trick or Treat was another great success! Those princess pillowcases and pirate bags looked pretty well packed with sugary treats! A big thanks to all the neighbors who gave out treats for Halloween this year!

We’d like to announce the winners of our “new-for-this-year” contests:

Kid’s Costume Contest– A $10 Toys R Us gift certificate for the 0-5 year old age group goes to Taylor, an adorable monkey from 64th Street.

Adult Costume Contest-One $20 gift certificate to The Pantry will be awarded to Nancy from 66th Street for her “Patrick” from Spongebob costume.

Most Festive House goes to the Stramowskis on 67th Street with a gift certificate to buy MORE DECORATIONS! It was a close race with the Titeras on 66th and their awesome carved pumpkin! And if it had been an indoor contest, rumor has it Lynn on 61st would have been the winner! Thanks to everyone who participated in the most festive house contest, it was great to walk around the neighborhood and see everyone’s hard work and creativity.

Thanks to Jeff Strothenke for being a great safety monitor. There is a Mayfair Mall gift card for you…although your wife did mention we should give it directly to her!

TGIF PORCH PARTY IV

THANK YOU to Rick Amen for his Awesome PORCH PARTY IV! 62nd street was rockin’ with the great sounds of Super Custom Deluxe. The food tables were packed with yummies and the kids had more energy than all the adults combined! It was a great opportunity for neighbors to get together! I think Rick has a list of items that were left behind which will get posted on the comments. PLEASE add a comment on the blog to say “THnX” to Rick for a great evening!
