Ghosts, Goblins, Princesses and Pirates can Trick or Treat this year on:
Saturday, October 31st
6pm-8pm
Any household within the PPNA borders, 60th to 68th from North to Lloyd, may hand out treats. The Fall Newsletter will have the official PPNA Pumpkin to hang in your window to show your participation. This is a PPNA sponsored event, please support your neighborhood association by joining the PPNA or renewing your membership at this time. Glow Lights will be given out to participants at the membership drive. Two year members and those who have mailed in the membership form will have Glow Lights delivered to their home.
There will be two PPNA sponsored CIDER STOPS. At our cider stops, we will be collecting nonperishable food items, toiletries or monetary donations for Tosa Cares. Visit http://www.tosacares.org for a list of preferred donation items. Have your little ghost or goblin give a little something back to the community for their basket of goodies! If there is a chill in the air, feel free to grab a warm cup of apple cider at either location.
Cider Stops are 2119 North 61st and 2119 North 66th.
The PPNA is hosting a HuMp DaY Happy Hour at Hue on Wednesday, August 19th from 5:30-7:30pm. Appetizers will be provided and Hue will offer drink specials for members. We hope to see lots of new faces. Hue is a PPNA business sponsor, so feel free to check them out before the happy hour for lunch or dinner and support a PPNA sponsor.
This event is free to members. Not a member? We are offering an end of the membership year special to anyone not currently a member of the PPNA. Sign up now and receive the rest of this membership year FREE and become a member in good standing until September 30, 2016! Click here to print a membership form or just bring your payment to Hue and we will have forms available that night.
Neighborhood Wide Rummage Sale

Look for participants from 60th to 68th Street between North Ave and Lloyd St.
Residents: Here’s your chance to get rid of the clutter and sell all those items you just don’t quite need anymore! Participation is FREE to those who are already members of the PPNA. If you are not a current member, you can pay the non-member participation fee of $8 OR join the PPNA for the rest of this membership year for $10. Your membership will give you access to our eBlast newsletters and events we host through September 30th. Rummage flyers will be delivered to your home in the next week or print this flyer to participate. If you choose to join the PPNA, please also submit a membership form with your rummage form. Thanks so much to VP, Mary, for taking the lead on our Rummage Event!
Volunteers are needed to deliver flyers to all residents. Please email, Mary at mbalistreri@wi.rr.com, ASAP to help deliver flyers to a block near you!
Great information here from the Wauwatosa Police Department! Do you know your Neighborhood Watch Block Captain? Look for more information later this year as the WPD works with neighborhood associations to update the block watch program.
PPNA members’ children and grandchildren 10 years old and younger are invited to participate. Bring your baskets to collect eggs and don’t forget your cameras as the PPNA Easter Bunny will be on hand to help the kiddies search for eggs! You must be a current member to participate in this event, for insurance purposes. Not a current member? Find out how to become a member, here!
