Celebrating the 35^th anniversary of the Wauwatosa Historical Society and the 50^th anniversary of Wauwatosa West High School, the Tosa West Trojan Players will present an original play, “FlipCom: Tosa Now and Then,” on June 1, 2 and 3. The play, at Wauwatosa West, will benefit the historical society.

“FlipCom” was written by Milwaukee native Steve Stajich, who has written for a number of TV sitcoms and was a staff writer for “Prairie Home Companion” on NPR. The play looks like a TV sitcom featuring a bewildered “Dad” who discovers he can leave his present-day Wauwatosa family—and the pressures that go with it—and enter a black-and-white 1950s-style “Father Knows Best” sitcom. FlipCom is family-friendly entertainment that plugs into our collective TV conscience for a laugh-filled evening of live theater.
